- The way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected, or the state of being connected.
- The state of being connected by blood or marriage.
- The way in which two or more people or groups regard and behave toward each other.
- An emotional and sexual association between two people.
Relationship is the state of being connected that I experience inside of myself. I believe that any relationship that I can imagine totally resides in me. A relationship I have with another is not 50% mine and 50% other; it is 100% mine.
To me the lowest common denominator of relationship is to be aware of my ONENESS with all life; this is the prime purpose of my life. This is my paradigm, my way of viewing reality.
Excerpt from Paradigm Shift-
I believe the only thing that we can truly control with our conscious will is our behavior (actions and reactions). We can influence our feelings, thoughts, and emotions but not control them.
If you want to make small changes in your life change one behavior at a time.
If you want to make large changes in your life change your PARADIGM (YOUR WAY OF VIEWING REALITY).
But how do you view things correctly? You have heard the saying “seeing is believing”; I think we have it backwards “believing is seeing”. When you first enter this world “seeing is believing”, but after you have built up your own set of assumptions, concepts, values, and practices then “believing is seeing”.
First you build your beliefs, and then you filter what you see through them. You have programmed the way you view reality and have allowed others to program the way you view reality.
In order to view things correctly you need to change your paradigm, your way of viewing reality.
Let’s say you view reality from the ego’s point of view. You will view everything as separate from you and conflict improves your standing. It’s a small fearful world.
Now let’s say you view reality from a more holistic point of view. You will view everything as interconnected and cooperation improves your standing. It’s a large loving world.
Your paradigm is your set of assumptions, concepts, values, and practices that have been imprinted on your subconscious mind.

Let us see what Albert Einstein had to say about our way of viewing reality:
Albert Einstein- “I think the most important question facing humanity is, ‘Is the universe a friendly place?’ This is the first and most basic question all people must answer for themselves.
For if we decide that the universe is an unfriendly place, then we will use our technology, our scientific discoveries and our natural resources to achieve safety and power by creating bigger walls to keep out the unfriendliness and bigger weapons to destroy all that which is unfriendly and I believe that we are getting to a place where technology is powerful enough that we may either completely isolate or destroy ourselves as well in this process.
If we decide that the universe is neither friendly nor unfriendly and that God is essentially ‘playing dice with the universe’, then we are simply victims to the random toss of the dice and our lives have no real purpose or meaning.
But if we decide that the universe is a friendly place, then we will use our technology, our scientific discoveries and our natural resources to create tools and models for understanding that universe. Because power and safety will come through understanding its workings and its motives.
God does not play dice with the universe…” –Albert Einstein
So…how do you view reality?
